| Return... end... and all that.... |

Well, yet another holiday has come to an end. As they tend to do. Sadly. But at least they always manage to provide me with good memories. And this past one wasn't an exception.
The final weekend was definitely the highlight though. As the parties at Betties Bay always prove to be.
I guess the whole of that Friday night can be summed up with Aike's reaction on Saturday morning. After waking up, the first words from his mouth were "How did I get here?" Upon inspecting his torn shirt, his multiple scrapes and cuts and the splinters in his hands, he decided that a more important question would be "What did I do last night?"
As usual, the task fell to me of explaining to everyone exactly what they did the previous night. Recalling the tale of the roadsigns that found their way into the bushes, the evil bush that swallowed everyone that came close and Nic's evil plot to try and build the biggest fire ever was something that I really enjoyed. All in all, a very memorable evening. For those that can remember it, at least.
I'm just glad that Saturday turned out to be a really good day. Chilly as the winter weather may be, the sun really made an effort to try and heat us up. It's just a pity that the river water was pretty close to freezing. Didn't stop us from swimming in it though. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why I'm starting to feel sick.
I was a bit dissapointed when most of the people had to leave on Saturday afternoon. But at least that meant we could have a quiet and relaxing evening. Especially after the damage everyone took the previous night. And I know that Rob really needed it. I can still see he's in danger of working himself to death. He pretty much only takes time off to relax when we force him to. I really need to have a talk with him about that.
This weekend really was something that I needed. Everyone did. Just a chance to escape from all their worries and concerns and relax. But it's all over now. Time to get back to reality. Time to get started with what will no doubt be the toughest semester I've ever faced. |

It's nice to see your smiling internet face :)
Much good luck with your next semester. You picked quite the major-- I guess you'll need all the luck you can get. | |
